International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) organized a short training course in Paris aimed at professionals and participants from archives and related institutions, and one of the lecturers was the Head of Film Archive of the Yugoslav Film Archive Aleksandar Erdeljanović.

At the invitation of Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé Foundation, Erdeljanović was in Paris on 11 and 12 March, and as part of the FIAF Winter School program on festival programming and screening nitrate films, he gave a lecture on the Nitrate Film Festival of the Yugoslav Film Archive.

The lecture was accompanied by a short film about the Nitrate Film Festival, which has been held in Belgrade for 25 years. As many as 30 film archives, archives and film museums worldwide took part in the jubilee 25th edition of the Festival last June in the Yugoslav Film Archive.

After his presentation, Erdeljanović answered to audience questions together with other participants – Antti Alanen, film historian and critic from Finland, Kieron Webb, Head of Conservation at the BFI National Archive, Julia Dorigny, Cinémathèque Française, as well as many other lecturers.
